Ginnie is a baby
We got new sofas. No one else seems excited. Maybe it was because they were groggy from nap time. Maybe they really don't care. What ev. I like them. :)
The story behind the new furniture is pretty funny. George was playing with the cat door and flipped the switch. Moses was locked out of the basement for who knows how long and ended up peeing on our couch. I tried to clean, deodorize, and air out the cushions, but it was no use. Plus, the smell went all the way to the wooden frame. Ok, so it isn't that funny, but we keep laughing to keep from throwing George or the cat out! Ha ha... ha ha.........ha........
Wannabe Day
So during Lutheran Schools Week, there was a day called Wannabe day. The students got to dress up like who they want to be when they grow up. I sat with Liv and went through the whole gamut of professions (or at least ones I knew we could easily dress up as!) and she was adamant to be..... a Mommy! We sent her to school with a baby carrier, doll, and purse with Mommy items (bottle, chapstick, keys, coupons. ha ha). I forgot to get a pic that day, but she is still practicing her Mommy skills.
29!
Happy birthday to me! This is my first year to be 29 (and to say with without lying, or whispering "in my heart" under my breath). I have been celebrating all month. Troy got me an ipod touch, and a lot of babysitting from him so I can go out to my hearts content! Dinners with friends, time at the spa, freedom!!! He is a good man!
My birthday lunch
Peas and Dumplin' Soup! Yummy!

Sitting Pretty!
So, Virginia has been sitting all by herself. I still keep the boppy around her for those exciting moments when she forgets she is doing this on her own. Overall, she is getting it and is loving the ability to sit and play with her toys on the floor, instead of always being in the exersaucer. She thinks she's pretty cool, as you can see.
Kind of looking back on this winter. We had a lot of snow days. Most of it was because Liv doesn't go to school when there is a 2 hr delay (since she is only in school for half a day to begin with). So, with me being afraid to drive in the snow, and not liking the cold in general- we had a lot of movie days! There is no hiding the fact that my kids (like Troy) love movies. They could sit in front of the tv for hours if we let them. I would break up the day with "quick cleanings" and a lot of art. George discovered he loves cutting. Cutting anything, paper, doll hair, his socks while they are on his feet. sigh. Oh, and there was a lot of pretend happening. :D

Royal Party in Hagerstown!
So, Livia isn't the only princess in town. Of course, Troy and I knew that, but we didn't know how Liv would take it. She seemed to be fine when she realized she was invited to Princess Annaliese's 4th Birthday Galla! And a Galla it was!!! The Sylvia's went all out with a stage set as Liese's castle, face painting, great food, moon bounce, games, and a whole bunch of Liese's big friends (Mid Atlantic Massters Commission) dressed up as midevel characters! The kids are still talking about it! Good Memories!
