This is nothing special, well to you anyway. I'm not a scrapbook type, or a baby book writer, or even a picture printer. I'm terrible at recording memories. This blog is my attempt at holding on to some of my life as a Christian, a wife, and a homeschooling Mom of 5. I am a country girl that lived in a big city for 14 years, and moved to the Deep South for quiet, quaint, small town living.

Some Vacation highlights

Every other year we have a baby, and every other year we go on vacation. :) Since this was a "no baby" year, we accepted the invitation to spend a week with the Krawczyk's in Lake Placid. They graciously open their mountain home to us and other families for an incredible experience. This year Kim and Brandt went too. It was amazing!

No one will ever convince Marcy that Duncan is a dog and not a baby. I think he likes it anyway.

Brandt was a fishing fool! Every time he dropped the line, he caught one immediately.

    I'm so jealous you were at Saranac (and Placid for that matter). I spent a month at Saranac doing Young Life work crew. Great memories!

    Marcy took me to Young life 2 yrs ago. We just went to the gift shop. :) And I believe Kim (who was there with us) went to YL when she was younger!
