background

This is nothing special, well to you anyway. I'm not a scrapbook type, or a baby book writer, or even a picture printer. I'm terrible at recording memories. This blog is my attempt at holding on to some of my life as a Christian, a wife, and a homeschooling Mom of 5. I am a country girl that lived in a big city for 14 years, and moved to the Deep South for quiet, quaint, small town living.

Maggie Moo

 This precious little baby.
Even though Ginnie tries to claim her as one of her own dolls, she is all mine.
Troy has a minority share, when I'm feeling generous.

I want her to stay little.

I wonder if I keep her in her current clothing size, it will keep her from growing, just like Asian women did back in the day with their feet.  (Would that make her all disfigured and gross?)

Maggie is sitting up by herself, but so help me  if she tries to stand I will knock her down!

I'm starting to see myself as the crazy cat lady, except I end up with 33 babies instead of kitties.

But let's just be honest.
When you see that pudgy little hand holding on, and those fat cheeks that are just so round, there is no going back to normal.  Baby crazy you become.

I'm going to embrace it.

  1. I think I could write a whole paper on why we are often so drawn to babies! For one thing, it is so fleeting...

Loved your recent posts, especially the pictures of all four of them reading together. :) We've been enjoying the tapes we borrowed from you, BTW.
