This is nothing special, well to you anyway. I'm not a scrapbook type, or a baby book writer, or even a picture printer. I'm terrible at recording memories. This blog is my attempt at holding on to some of my life as a Christian, a wife, and a homeschooling Mom of 5. I am a country girl that lived in a big city for 14 years, and moved to the Deep South for quiet, quaint, small town living.

Today is my Rainbow!

Toast is boring
 and we like to paint.....
(don't worry, it is food coloring and milk)
Why Ginnie, you are being so good!
You wouldn't be trying to distract me from anything, would you?
And there she is, sneaking!
Ew.
Does this happen to anyone else?  The screw just comes loose.... a lot.  We go to open the door and the handle and top cover pop off.  :/  It is a quick fix and I thought I had time to fix it before I took the toast out.
It took a little longer than I thought.....  Oops.
We salvaged some pieces and rounded it off with some more natural food, ha ha.

This rainbow day is the beginning of many more color days.  Yesterday was an impromtu green day with mint chocolate chip ice cream (a treat after 3 doctor appts), a strawberry/spinach green smoothie, and green jello.  The kids just assumed we were having color days from now on.  So today we are doing a rainbow day (reviewing the colors, primary, secondary and even tertiary).

This also buys me some time to think of other color day ideas!
Feel free to post any suggestions!!
